Track chimpanzees in Kibale Forest, cruise along the Kazinga Channel surrounded by hippos and elephants, search for tree-climbing lions in Ishasha, and experience the unforgettable moment of meeting mountain gorillas in Bwindi. The journey ends with walking safaris and close encounters with zebra and giraffe in Lake Mburo, offering a complete and rewarding wildlife circuit.

Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Uganda & Drive to Kibale National Park
Today you will arrive at Entebbe International Airport in the morning, where your safari guide will welcome you. After completing immigration formalities, you will drive to Kibale National Park, passing through charming towns, farms, and tea plantations along the way.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale & Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, attend a chimpanzee tracking briefing before entering the forest in search of these amazing primates. Spend about 1 hour with the chimpanzees, observing their playful interactions.
After tracking, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a scenic 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and Lake Edward, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and birds along the way

Day 3: Morning Game Drive & Transfer to Ishasha Sector
Begin the day with a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, hippos, and more.
In the afternoon, drive to the Ishasha sector to search for tree-climbing lions, followed by check-in at your lodge.

Day 4: Game Drive in Ishasha & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early morning game drive in Ishasha, journey through the stunning Kigezi Highlands to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to mountain gorillas.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & Drive to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, embark on a gorilla trekking adventure guided by experienced rangers. Spend 1 hour observing a gorilla family in its natural habitat.
After trekking, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for an overnight stay. Optional community visit may be possible depending on timing.

Day 6: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park & Evening Game Drive
After breakfast, leave Lake Bunyonyi and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, stopping for lunch in Mbarara. Enjoy an evening game drive spotting zebras, elands, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, and over 250 bird species.

Day 7: Morning Nature Walk & Transfer to Entebbe for Departure
Start the day with a guided nature walk escorted by an armed ranger. Observe zebras, giraffes, and other wildlife up close. Return to the lodge for breakfast before transferring to Entebbe Airport. Stop at the Equator for photos along the way.

This is a private safari, run exclusively for you and each vehicle holds a maximum of 7 clients. If an accommodation is fully booked we’ll suggest a comparable alternative where possible. All prices quoted are per person in USD (US Dollars) and are subject to availability and expire on the 31st December 2019. Please contact us for a quote for travel in 2020 and beyond.
