Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: HILTON GARDEN NAIROBI HOTEL - AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Today you will be picked up at Hilton Garden Nairobi Hotel where you will meet our Benson Safaris driver guide who will receive you and drive you to Amboseli National Park. (Amboseli National Park is home to the biggest and highest population of elephants in Kenya) We will arrive Amboseli National park at around 3pm and enjoy an evening game drive as we head to
our hotel.

Day 2: FULL DAY AT AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Today you will continue with a Surely elephants will impress you - their playing, bathing, caring for each other, feeding, and just being - it is a guaranteed lifetime memory! Lions, cheetahs, and other predators praying in a stakeout while unsuspecting peaceful herbivores graze in the immediate vicinity could catch their dinner just in front of you. Countless birds above and around, flamingos, ostriches, and hippos just there - what a treat! There’s so much to see, and you are likely to see it all!

Day 3: AMBOSELI TO MASAI MARA NATIONAL PARK

Today you will continue with a game drive at Amboseli National Park. Later on you drive to Masai Mara where you will arrive in the late afternoon, head to the hotel to freshen up. (Maasai Mara is within the Serengeti National Park eco system and home to the wildebeest migration (the 7 wonder of the world)

Day 4: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

After the breakfast, you will proceed for a full day game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The balloon safari is at additional cost. While on the full day safari, our driver guide will drive you to the interesting nooks and corners of the park to introduce you to the amazing
flora and fauna the park has to offer. Later in the evening, return to your hotel.

Day 5: MAASAI MARA – ISEBANIA BOADER –SERENGETI

After an early morning breakfast and with packed lunch boxes you will enjoy a morning safari in Maasai Mara, where you will drive heading out of the Masai Mara gate and drive to Isebania

boarder, upon arrival at Isebania boarder you will meet up with our Tanzania driver guide and exchange to another safari Vehicle where you will be transferred to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania.

Day 6: NORTH SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Today you will venture deeper into the world-famous Serengeti on a full day game drive in search of the great wildebeest migration.
You will base yourself around the Mara River area where crocodiles prey and the wildebeest gather and wait to cross. For days, their numbers will increase and anticipation grows however, for no apparent reason, many will turn and wander away from the water’s edge. Eventually the wildebeest will choose a crossing point which varies from year to year and cannot be predicted.
Nowhere in the world is there a movement of animals as immense as the great wildebeest migration and to witness it is a once in a lifetime experience.

Day 7: CENTRAL SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Early morning breakfast, you will continue with a morning game drive in Northern Serengeti, later on you will drive back to Central Serengeti for your relaxation. Serengeti, the incomparable wonder of Tanzania, will be the stage for the natural animal theatrics which will be performed over the next few days. Imagine hundreds of thousands of herd animals, braying loudly and moving like an army several kilometres long. The Great Migration is beyond words, the biggest movement of animals anywhere. Your game drive here combines the known with the unknown, the certainty that you will be amazed with the uncertainty of exactly what you will see and when. Changing light, a changing cast of animal actors, ensuring that at every turn there is a new experience. Snap off some memorable photos, but don’t forget to simply take a deep breath and enjoy nature in its real-time, raw beauty. Later in the evening you will drive to your camp for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 8: CENTRAL SERENGETI – NGORONGORO CRATER

Breakfast, today you will be rewarded with a visit to the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, which became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979 and is one of the only places on earth where
mankind and wild animals co-exist is harmony.

Visit Olduvai Gorge which is one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world for early human evolution. The site is significant in showing the increasing developmental and
social complexities in the earliest humans. Here you will enjoy free time to discover the museum before continuing with the game drive to Ngorongoro. The Ngorongoro Crater is famous for Africa’s best game viewing as there is an ever-present abundance of wildlife due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor. Upon arrival at the Crater’s rim you will descend 610 meters into the Crater where your safari truly begins. Spot the endangered black rhino, wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, eland, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelle and of course, giant tusked elephants. The Crater also has the largest known population of lions and you will also find leopards, cheetahs as well as scavengers such as spotted hyenas, jackals and rare wild dogs. Over 500 species of birds have been recorded within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. These include white pelican and flamingos.
Soon after ascending from the crater floor, you will drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: KARATU – ARUSHA AIRPORT

After an early breakfast, you will drive from Karatu to Arusha Airport where you will catch up your flight to Zanzibar at 16:00pm.
