Overview
This short Rwanda journey combines powerful history with an unforgettable wildlife encounter. Begin in Kigali with a moving visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, offering insight into Rwanda’s past and its inspiring journey of reconciliation. Continue to Volcanoes National Park, where you will trek through lush rainforest to encounter endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. With guided experiences, beautiful landscapes, and meaningful cultural moments, this itinerary offers a unique and deeply memorable introduction to Rwanda.

Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at the Kigali Airport – Transfer to the Hotel. (D)
On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met with a warm welcome by our company representative as your professional guide driver will be at the airport ahead of time waiting for you, get cleared with customs, exchange some money in local currency then transfer to the hotel, check in and rest.
- Overnight – Hotel Des Mille Collines, Kigali
Day 2: Pick up from Kigali - Transfer to Volcanoes NP (Musanze) (Approx. 2 hours and 30 mins Drive). (B, L, D)
You will have your breakfast, check out thereafter, then you will take part in a short Kigali city tour; visit Kigali Genocide Memorial. a place of remembrance and learning dedicated to the victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. Thereafter drive to Musanze the home of Mountain Gorillas, Golden monkeys and hikes, on your way going you will be having time to discover, view Rwandan Landscapes. You will relax and enjoy property amenities after check in at the lodge.

Day 3: Volcanoes National Park - Gorilla Trekking and Transfer back to Kigali (B, L, D)
You will have an early breakfast from your lodge then proceed to the park headquarters to meet your guides for Gorilla trekking activity and attend a pre-trek briefing where you will receive important information about the trek, safety precautions, and park regulations. After completing park formalities, we are embarking on a once in a life time experience of tracking the gentle Mountain gorillas. Once you spot them you are allowed to spend an hour watching and observing them in their natural environment. After your wonderful encounter, you will transfer back to Kigali; check in to your hotel and rest.

Day 4: Departure from Kigali to Nairobi. (B)
After your breakfast, you will check out and drive to Kigali international Airport in time for your flight.
