The Serengeti Trail & Lake Manyara – 6 Days Safari: You will travel through the endless plains of the world famous Serengeti, search for the Big 5 in Ngorongoro Crater and see the tree-climbing lions of Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s bird life with more than 400 species being recorded. Highlights include thousands of pink-hued flamingos as well as other large waterbirds such as pelicans, cormorants and storks. The contrasts of Lake Manyara are simply breathtaking with its open plains, huge escarpment, Soda Lake, dense woodlands, and distant volcanic peaks coming together in an area best described by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”.
During your safari you will meet the Maasai and learn about the culture, beliefs and traditions of Tanzania’s last nomadic tribe. This safari offrs lodges as well as tented camps and can be suited to your needs with budget, mid-range or luxury accommodations. You will enjoy the comforts and luxuries of a tented camp or get in touch with the breathtaking atmosphere by sitting around the campfire and share your safari stories after a full day game drive in Serengeti National Park. This wildlife safari starts and ends in Arusha at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport. Upon request this tour can start and end in Dar es Salaam or Nairobi and we can book internal flights. This tour is a private safari and run exclusively for you and can depart on any day. Children are welcome to join this safari from any age. There are also discounts for children between 0 and 15 years old and further discounts for families sharing a triple or quad room.
