Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a Benson Safaris Tanzania Transfer Driver will warmly welcome you. You'll then be driven to your lodge, where you have the rest of the day at your leisure. Whether you choose to relax in your room, take a refreshing swim in the pool, or embark on one of our day tours to explore Arusha and its surroundings, the choice is entirely yours.

Day 2: Exploring Northern Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, your journey takes you to the Serengeti National Park, renowned as one of Africa's premier game parks. As you traverse the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to the Serengeti, you'll begin to grasp the vastness of this territory and be amazed by the diverse animal and bird life that thrives in its acacia-dotted savannah.

An optional visit to a Maasai Village in the Ngorongoro Highlands provides an opportunity to engage with Elders, Warriors, women, and children, delving into the culture, beliefs, and traditions of Tanzania's last nomadic tribe.

The Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is Tanzania's oldest and most renowned national park. Its year-round allure includes unique highlights for each season, with the captivating annual wildebeest migration being the most iconic, providing a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

En route, you'll enjoy a game drive before an afternoon game drive upon arrival in the Northern Serengeti.

Day 3: Immersion in the Great Wildebeest Migration

Today, you'll venture deeper into the famous Serengeti for a full day game drive, with the ultimate goal of encountering the spectacular great wildebeest migration.

Positioning yourself near the Mara River, where crocodiles lie in wait and wildebeests congregate, you'll witness the anticipation and marvel at this natural phenomenon. The migration's intricate dance, with its ebb and flow, remains an awe-inspiring spectacle that defies prediction.

The great wildebeest migration stands as one of the world's most remarkable animal movements, and witnessing it firsthand is an unforgettable experience.

Day 4: Journey to Central Serengeti National Park

Today, you'll indulge in another full day game drive as you transition between the Northern and Central Serengeti.

You have the flexibility to craft your itinerary for the day. Choose between spending another day in the Northern Serengeti before heading to the Central Serengeti, or opt for a combination of a half day game drive in the North and another in the Central region.

Day 5: Unveiling the Ngorongoro Crater

Today, prepare to be amazed by the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a unique habitat where humans and wildlife coexist harmoniously.

As you descend 610 meters into the Crater's depths, you'll be greeted by a thriving ecosystem sustained by a permanent water supply. Here, you'll spot a rich array of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino, wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, eland, gazelles, elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and various scavengers. The Crater also hosts an impressive bird population, with over 500 recorded species.

Following a full day of game driving, you'll return to Arusha for your final evening.

Day 6: Departure from Arusha

Today, you'll be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
